Unboxing Your Bonocle

Bonocle arrives in a neat and compact box, as you experience the box, you'll notice some distinct features:

Embossed. Bonocle Logo: On the front of the box, you'll find the Bonoclelogo embossed, letting you know you're about to embark on a journey of accessibility.

Silhouette and Braille: In the center, you'll see a silhouette of the Bonocle device, which represents our commitment to empowering the visually impaired. Below it, our brand name "Bonocle" is printed in both print and braille.

InteriorReveal: To access the contents of the box, pull on the flap located on the left side.

Accessories for You

At the top of the box, you'll find two envelopes labeled"Accessories." These envelopes contain essential items to enhance your Bonocle experience, including:

Charging Cable: Keep your Bonocle powered and ready for action.

Strap: A handy strap to secure and carry your Bonocle with ease.

These accessories are designed to make yourBonocle experience seamless, convenient, and safe.

Meet Your Bonocle

Now, let's get to the star of the show - yourBonocle device. Nestled comfortably within the box, your Bonocle is ready to be unboxed and embraced.

Bonocle is a sleek and ergonomic device that resembles a small computer mouse. Its design ensures ease of use and comfort in your hand. Here are some key features to familiarize yourself with:

Symmetry: Bonocle is symmetrical, allowing you to use it comfortably with either your left or right hand.

Orientation: Hold Bonocle with the widest section facing away from you, and rest your palm and forearm on a surface or table. This orientation ensures a comfortable and natural grip.

Braille Cell: Located at the center of the widest part is the braille cell

NavigationButtons: On both sides of the braille cell, you'll find the "Previous" and "Next" buttons.

Center Button: Directly below the braille cell is the middle button.

Action and BackButtons: On the side of Bonocle under your thumb, you'll find the "Action" button, while the opposite side features the"Back" button. The action button is positioned for easy access, and will always be under your thumb, based on your hand preference.

Additional Features

Turning your Bonocle over, you'll find essential features:

Charging Port: At the front, there's a USB-C port for charging, ensuring a reversible connection to keep your Bonocle powered up seamlessly.

Pairing Button: Just below the braille cell on the bottom side, you'll find the circular pairing button. It's essential for connecting your Bonocle with the smart device of your choice. If you feel a hole, you've gone too far down, and that’s the optical sensor. Slide a bit further up, and you'll reach the pairing button.

Optical Sensor: Further down from the pairing button is the optical sensor.

On/Off Switch: Right under the optical sensor is the on/off switch.

Turning on Your Bonocle

To power up your Bonocle, locate the on/off switch and push it upwards toward the pairing button. Once your Bonocle is switched on, you should feel a vibration, indicating that it's turned on. If you don't feel the vibration, connect your Bonocle to a power source and give it another try.
